It was so beautiful today I had to go out and take a few photos. They are very random, my only girl-Sadie, a stained glass cross wind-chime, which was just waiting for the sun to shine, old wood- I love the grain and a few other things I found on my walk. I am so blessed to live where I can see this beauty everyday!

By-the-way....My home makes a beautiful back drop for family or senior portraits if anyone has been thinking of getting portraits made. Please keep me in mind!
I hope everyone is having a blessed and relaxing weekend.

Jana's Expecting Photos

We are all so excited to have another little boy in the family ~Jenson Truett Smith. I was honored to be the one to get to capture these moments for my little brother and Jana. Jana gave me the OK to let the world see here "expecting" photo's.
I Love the one of Braden with the Baseball glove. He told me he was going to teach his little brother how to play baseball.
These are a few of my favorites.....

Hello, everyone, or just one! My brother Roger is the only "follower" I have at the moment! I promise to post more often and let everyone know the exciting life I live. I may have lost some interest on that one, but if you would stick with me, you will learn things you never knew and maybe some you never wanted to know. This week I have worked on my photography website and our other business, "RoCox, Inc." website. I am definitely not an IT person, but I do what I can with what I know. As you may find out sooner that I would like, I am not a great speller and tend not to edit my blogs very well.
I made several creative decisions (I can say that because I am the only one how was here at the time) and then I published my photography site - rather proud of myself, I might add. But, that didn't last long when I realized I had misspelled "Photography" of all things and it wasn't on some hidden random page. It was on my header!
So, if any of you, besides Jana and Roger, see any misspellings or something that just isn't right, please let me know right away- I am trying to start this business on mainly by word of mouth and the look and feel of my site, business cards...ect. So, any feed back would be appreciated.
I am excited to say I saw an eagle today while putting mail in the box. It was so amazing and beautiful. I stopped and took a moment and thanked God for the amazing animal and that I live in a place that I am allowed to view such sites everyday. Although I tried to get the camera and hoped for an amazing shot, it was too far away. So, I can't share it with you through a photo, but just believe me, it was a beautiful site! Have you thanked God for something amazing I your life lately?
I am going to get back to work now and I have some studying to do, that Chemistry isn't going to magically appear in my brain!
Have a blessed week,
Stacy

Jana Smith's Baby Shower

Hello to anyone still looking in on my blog. I have been busy with school (Intro to Chemistry - YUCK) and my other business that my husband and I run, not to mention 13, 19 and 27 year old sons! Also, I have finally designed and printed my photography cards. My handsome nephew, Braden is on the back, he will probably charge me for using his pictures later. Maybe I can get by with a couple trips to Wonderland and he will call it even. I am currently working on a information packet that I'm excited about. It will include a few words about me and my photography, portrait packages, pricing, proofing, what to wear, contract and contact info. I hope to have it finished soon.
THE BABY SHOWER ~This past weekend my sister-in-law, Jana, had a baby shower. Braden is going to be a big brother very soon. I took pictures at the shower. That was the best planned, decorated, and all together best shower I've ever attended, the ladies at Pleasant Valley Church did an excellent job. It almost made me want to have a baby just to get all the goodies.....Ok, maybe not, I'll play with Jenson when he arrives! After the shower some of the family had lunch and got to visit, which is always nice. Then I went to Roger and Jana's house and took her "Expecting" pictures. I am feel privileged to be able to capture part of their story. Braden reluctantly took a few with his soon to be brother, but I don't think he is quiet sure about all the little brother business yet. But I think he will come around when his brother gets here and he will be a great big brother. I can't wait to take those photos. Well, it's time to prepare for another week. I'm hoping it's not as long as last week. It was long, but I must give thanks to God for good news from the Dr. and for the many other blessings only He can give. Also, many thanks to those who were praying for the good news! I am blessed with great friends and family.
I hope to start booking sessions soon, hopefully the weather will cooperate. If you know of any Seniors that still need photos, send them my way.
Have a blessed week.
